I looked at colleges’ transfer credit requirements; However, I am confused because the course numbers are not the same (we have 100,165 etc…) there was no 165 in Ann Arbor for example
I’m not sure yet how to convert this
You don’t convert courses for transferring - the new school does that based on your transcript, after you are offered a place.
If you are preparing to transfer and there are pre-req classes, they will be listed by type (eg, Introductory physics + lab), not number- every school uses it’s own numbering system.
Read the course descriptions, not the numbers, to get an idea of possible equivalencies.
What I did is looked up “university of Michigan transfer credits” and they usually have an option to select where the credits are transferring from, them it’ll tell you the equivalent that the new school has and if it’s transferrable or not.
