Undergrads going to MBA straight out of college.

Undergrads rarely go to an MBA directly out of college.

Is this because:

They apply and they dont get in?

or

They just go straight to a job?

If they apply and get rejected, wouldn't this make the MBA admit rate numbers a little skewed?

It’s actually a combination of both: most will go straight to a job because they know that if they do apply, it is unlikely they will get in, assuming you’re talking about top programs. (It’s not that hard to get into a low-ranked MBA program right out of undergrad).

well I know some programs such as HBS has a 2+2 program where they find people in college who are ambitious and serious about going into Business school, so you apply junior year and if you get in they will find a 2 year work experience for you and after you do the job you will go into HBS. These types of programs are gaining popularity.

Well, heck, forget about 2+2; HBS still admits people straight out of undergrad. In fact, HBS admits people who never even graduated from college at all.
