Does anyone know any good undergraduate business schools or even a major in economics in NYC, besides NYU and Columbia University?

CUNY Honors Baruch, or just CUNY Baruch..
um..can't think of any other..

What about Manhattan College???

Fordham though in the bronx...and Pace University in Manhattan

If you don't have the $$ for Columbia or Stern then hands down you should go to Baruch. You will definitely get a better education at a fraction of the price of the other schools.

Could you tell me the average SAT score for Baruch? Also how hard is it to get in? I have around a 1200 SAT and a high B or a low A average.

Shockey..its VERY easy to get into Baruch...I was going to apply to the Honors College, but it was last minute and I realized I don't want to commute to school everyday..it'll be high school all over again. You will def. get into Regular Baruch...SAT is REALLY low...

I know they dont have a housing system, I am from Georgia. So how would that work out?

you would have to get an apartment

Oh, alright thanks.

Applying as an out of state student to the CUNY system and being admitted it is not going to be as easy as parikhs is making it sound.

As I have seen local students with the same stats over a lot of years get tuned down by Baruch.

As with most public universities, out of state students are at an disadvantage. All you can do is toss you hat in the ring and let the process play it self out.

I apologize..didn't know you were OOS until you mentioned Georgia...yeah its harder than if you were from NYC.

It says, Geographical residence is not considered. Also would it help if I applied early decision?

Also, what other colleges are comparable to Baruch College in the NYC area???

You should apply ED only if money is not an issue as out of state tuition is Currently $8640 per year (pretty reasonable, but you probably won't get any aid) but the cost of housing (especially in manhattan) is totally another story

How much do you think the housing would be???

Which college would be more comparable to Baruch College for finance, Manhattan College or Pace University?

manhattan college

theres also New School University, but i really dont like that college for many different reasons.

I think im just going to apply to Baruch College ED and Pace University.
