<p>Through his foundation George Lucas donated $175 million dollars to SC to build a state of the art cinematic arts complex and to add to SC’s endowment. The new complex has the latest in all aspects of film making.
Students report the classes are demanding. I do not know how much time one would have for classes in the fine School of Theatre at SC. Production is not the only major offered in CAS. Majors are offered in Animation and Digital Arts, Cinema-Television (Critcal Studies), Interactive Entertainment and Writing for Screen and Television.
If you have broad interests there are minors offered which might interest you at SC such as: Applied Theatre Arts, Communication for the Entertainment Industry, Interactive Media and the Culture of New Technologies, Interactive Multimedia, Visual Culture and Theatre.</p>
