<p>The big question is – do you want a career in film? If so, a “compact” course won’t do much for you, pick a school with an extensive program and good connections to the industry. If you just want an emphasis in film, explore good liberal arts colleges or good universities where they also have film/drama courses (Wesleyan, Fla State, UCLA come to mind.) </p>
<p>In my opinion, NY Film Academy won’t do much for you - it’s not a selective program, simply for those who have the money to do it.</p>
