well, for finance, can't beat the wharton school at penn.

just as a piece of advice, do not only look at finance programs - economics programs will a) frequently let you specialize in finance, and b) probably prepare you better for a wider range of options. I don't want to open a huge debate, but a common saying (true or not) is that an economics major can learn the material in a finance major in a few weeks (if they didn't subspecialize in finance and learn it already), whereas a finance major takes years to learn the material in an economics major. If you look at bulge-bracket IB firms, for example (and i pick them because the information is most widely available and therefore easiest for you to verify), there is really no preferential treatment given to, for example, Wharton Finance grads over, for example, Harvard Econ grads, because firms know that the learning curve is steep anyway, and the econ-trained students will only need a few weeks to catch up.

just something to think about.

rocksolid4...can you give me any more information about this? This is something I was wondering about..so many more schools have econ departments than finance majors, that's why I want to know...you're sure that the finance majors don't have better options?

My plan is to study Finance in undergrad and MBA in grad. do you guys have any commends on it?
