I'm confused: I'm looking into colleges to apply to with an undergrad major in nutritional sciences (I want to become a dietitian). I also heard though, that it's possible to major in physiology as a undergrad and still become a dietitian. Is this true? I feel like I'm missing something in terms of undergraduate majors. Help!

Major in a subject you love. With few exceptions, your career choice does not have to reflect your major. The happiest premeds in my class majored in music! College is a time in which you should learn to think, focus and analyze. Why not think, focus and analyze material about which you are passionate? If you are planning on a career in accounting, college offers you the opportunity to learn about art, literature, languages and a host of other topics that won’t be covered in business school or grad school. You will have a richer college experience if you focus on learning interesting material rather than career preparation.
