Undergraduate question

I plan on majoring in biology and one day hope to be a physician. Should i apply to Northeastern's college of science, or Bouvé College of Health Sciences?
Which one is better for my major and which is better in general?

My daughter is a Bouve graduate , health science major. She is currently in an accelerated masters program to become a Nurse Practitioner. Her original plan when she was applying was to become a physician too

If you plan to major in biology, then you will be in the college of science, not Bouve.

In general I have heard it recommended to go with a more science-intensive major for pre-med (i.e., biology instead of health science) because it will prepare you better for the MCAT and med school classes. However, this is not a hard-and-fast rule; you can be pre-med with any major. It’s also possible to change your major if you realize you’d rather do health science than biology or vice versa, with relatively little trouble.
