Are there undergraduate schools that have a higher percentage of students being accepted by top medical schools than others? And if we want to be sure to be accepted by a medical school later on, what should we be looking for in undergraduate schools?

No school is a sure thing...but schools like Johns Hopkins and Harvard and such, with excellent med and premed programs, have 90-95% of applying premed students get accepted into med progams. So HYPS, yes, and JHU. Brown/Rice/Northwestern have 7 year med programs where you're guarenteed acceptance right from the start into their med school. Only in these cases is it a sure thing.

And this is coming from an English major...

Keep in mind too that those statistics are a little... skewed. Considering some schools boast 99% acceptance rates because they only allow people who would get in apply in the first place (minimum requirements etc.)
