Everyone always talks about how great the Yale MFA in theater is, but how is the undergraduate program? I don't plan to major in theater and there are no minors, so I guess my only choice would be to just take elective classes. Since I'm not getting a BFA and would rather concentrate more on physical acting rather than theory, would Yale's theater studies be the way to go? I've also been looking at Columbia's and Brown's theater programs.

This isn't so much about the academics, but it might be of interest.

I have friend who is graduating this year as a theater major, and she loved it. The strength of Yale's graduate acting program enriches its undergraduate program by attracting top professors, guests, etc, and giving undergrads acting opportunities for grad student directed shows. Something like 200-plus shows are produced at Yale every year.
On the other hand, though, undergrads might have a tougher time getting cast in faculty directed shows, because they are competing against the top talent in the country in the Yale MFA program...
In terms of classes, they are all listed in the Blue Book which you can access on the Yale website. They look quite interesting...
