Undergraduate Zoology

I want to major in zoology, psychology, or animal behavior, or double major in two of those.
I also plan to follow the pre-vet curriculum in case I decide I DO want to go to vet school.
But I don't want to practice, I want to do research (PhD). For Grad/Vet Schools I am looking at the best of the best such as: UC Davis, Colorado State, Miami U, Michigan State, NCSU, UF.

My question is, where should I go for my undergrad?
What are the best undergrad curriculums for ALL: Animal Behavior, Zoology, Psychology, and "Pre-Vet"?
What schools are the best and will look the best for when I apply to Grad School? I don't want to go to the same undergrad and grad school since I won't get as much diversity and I want to stand out for whatever decide to further study.

P.S. I'd prefer to get out of Indiana!

Wisconsin Madison. Strong in Zoology and animal based psychology.

I recently came across a really interesting field that seems to combine some of your interests - I heard a presentation on the canine cognition program that is run through this department at Duke: evolutionaryanthropology.duke.edu/research You might want to check it out…
