Some ethnicities are underrepresented on college campuses even though the race they might identify with (e.g. Asian) make up a large portion of the student body. Is there any breakdown, statistics, etc that show what these underrepresented ethnicities are? Would it be a hook to be an underrepresented ethnicity?
You can see their Common Data from the colleges you apply to. However, the ethnicity hook is not as influential as one might think. It only works in favor of you if you are as competitive as other candidates.
