Underrepresented States

<p>would michigan count as an underrepresented state?</p>

<p>One incoming freshman from Michigan at Choate this year makes for three total out of a student population of 800+. Only two students in that population from our SW state which probably was a plus.</p>

<p>GMT do you think Michigan is underrepresented in NE schools like Andover? sorry for not clarifying</p>

<p>Really take out the the big cities and the rural parts of America tend to be underrepresented. Anywhere near New York, Chicago, LA and you have some of the top high schools in the country. Places like Arkansas and those southern states tend to be the most underrepresented for population (obviously Montana and Wyoming and those have fewer people).</p>
