Understanding GPAs as of 2017-2018

Hey guys!
I was wondering how colleges are going to review one’s GPA (converting to 100 point scale). When talking to teachers/ guidance counselors, searching online, etc… I got varying answers. When I looked at Princeton University’s admissions statistics website (https://admission.princeton.edu/how-apply/admission-statistics), students can have GPAs like 3.9, 3.8, 3.6, 3.5, etc… When looking at College Board’s GPA Chart (listed below), it is impossible to have these GPAs. Can someone tell me what an 86% / 100% GPA is?

College Board GPA Chart:

A+ 97-100 = 4.0

A 93-96 = 4.0

A- 90-92 = 3.7

B+ 87-89 = 3.3

B 83-86 = 3.0

B- 80-82 = 2.7

etc…

GPA Calculator’s (gpacalculator.net) GPA Chart:

95-100= 4.0
94 = 3.9
93 = 3.8
92 = 3.7
91 = 3.6
90 = 3.5
89 = 3.4
88 = 3.3
87 = 3.2
86 = 3.1
85 = 3.0
84 = 2.9
83 = 2.8
82 = 2.7
81 = 2.6
80 =2.5

etc…

Can someone give me an answer?
