Understanding the TI Calculator

<p>I just got the ti-83 plus and wondering how do you learn this calculator? It came with a decent sized book on how to use it. How did you figure out how to use all of it's features? I plan on using it for Statistics, but I just looked as this calculator and was clueless.</p>

<p>Also what's the difference between the ti-83 and the 83 plus?</p>

<p>Anyway, I have the 83 plus. It took me a week of playing with it to figure it out. I suggest trying to do some basic things by yourself, ie graph functions, and then read the manual for more advanced functions.</p>
