Underwhelming..........

<p>The math placement test is online now and isn’t easy, mostly because it has more diffeq on it than is covered in the AP curriculum.</p>

<p>Where did you get information to take it? It was in the fat packet?</p>

<p>Yeah, there was a bit of diff. eq. back when I took it. I think the test was 33-35 questions long, and the last 3-5 problems were differential equations. It wasn’t so bad for me since my school district required us to learn material past the AP curriculum, so after the tests we got to do a month or so of that.</p>

<p>Also, I don’t recall getting the math placement exam until I had accepted CMU and they had sent out the course questionnaires to see what class you requested to be put into. I wound up getting into everything I requested (Into Materials Science, Econ, Calc 3d, and physics).</p>

<p>For the current online test, is there any time limit?</p>

<p>I think there’s a time limit… The info about the placement test(s) will come in the middle of the summer, after you’ve decided to attend and all that.</p>
