Unfair Interview

The ■■■■■ is the one who uses language like “this awful school,” and a review of your over-the-top anti-Penn threads from August/September of 2011 (as a freshman in New Student Orientation before classes had even started) reveals that the overwhelming majority of posters agrees.

The thing is I know a lot of people at other top schools because many people from my high school went to top schools like Brown, UChicago, Yale, at Princeton for example. From what I have seen, I have had just as many if not more cool opportunities as they had. Judging by what these people did during the summer compared to my friends at Penn, I would say overall my friends at Penn had more opportunities for summer research and internships.

Just because I want to pick on you… you are none of those things. I’m not sure about CogSci, but I know that you cannot declare an Economics major before having taken two economics courses at Penn and having passed ECON001 and 002. Besides that, there is not a single premajor adviser who would allow a College freshman to declare one major, let alone two. And if you are doing the SEAS CogSci, that’s fine, but you cannot be admitted to a dual degree program until you are a sophomore.

So you can INTEND to do those majors, but until it is on your transcript, you are undeclared.

Also, 45 Percenter is hardly threatening you; he is merely stating facts about how moderators typically respond to people who bring little of value.

You can say that you hate it at Penn, and nobody would fault you. But you should absolutely never purport to speak for the majority of students.

Exactly.

This website and forum are NOT about painting any school with a broad negative brush or attempting to dissuade potential applicants en masse from applying to any particular school, and I can say unequivocally that attempts to do so will result in being banned. And not because I have the power to do that, which I don’t, but because I’ve read the rules of this forum and have observed several ■■■■■■ get banned over the past several years.

Okay, so I am confused.
Does Hafsa even attend the university that is the subject of this thread?
She lists her location as “Penn University”, which frankly, I have never heard of ;)
