<p>Terrible news and I feel for the victim and his family and friends. Definitely a reminder that college is not a fantasy world where nothing goes wrong and that students must be vigilant at all times.</p>

<p>I tell my sons not to be wandering around alone late at night on campus. Incidents tend to happen after midnight when the person is alone. I think College Ave is more ‘dangerous’ just because there is no separation with the campus/city. Busch and Livi are more sequestered. Most of the crime alerts I see concern the College Ave area.</p>
