Unfunded Masters -vs- PhD or funded masters

I know it's easier to get into a unfunded Masters program than PhD or a funded Masters program - but by how much?

For example, if acceptance rate at a top PhD program is 5%, how high is the acceptance rate for a unfunded Masters program?

Just looking for a very rough idea here, I realize this question is open and ambiguous.

There isn’t one answer to this program. It’s entirely field- and program-dependent. In some fields getting admitted to the top MA programs may have an acceptance rate of 15% and in others it may be closer to 30% or 40%. Some programs take pretty much anyone who can pay because they are cash cows, whereas some programs are more selective because they are feeders for top PhD programs. There is no “rough idea” of competitiveness for ALL unfunded MA programs; it varies wildly.
