You need a UNI to log onto SSOL and also to get Cubmail. Where do you get your UNI?

bumpbmpbmp

does anybody know
??

go to www.columbia.edu
in the top right corner, type your full name
click the "people" radio button below
click "go"
your uni should be somewhere in your description
you don't get a uni until you've accepted columbia's offer. the university would be foolish to give an e-mail address to someone who hasn't even confirmed their enrollment yet.

I'm pretty sure you'll get all of that good stuff in the mail mid-may when your acceptance is official

so you get it long after you already put in your deposit?
because i've already confirmed everything.

remember the school year is just now coming to a close...every single department in every single school across the country is busy doing stuff.

they arent going to worry about the new class until they finish this year up so expect it mid-may to mid-july

Ugh, the process is automated and a click of a button will essentially create all the UNIs for the incoming class.

but who is going to click the button when they have all this other stuff to do???

:P

What other stuff to do? While you may be busy with finals and will have less to do come mid-May, most employees of Columbia (i.e., the tech people) work 12 months a year and have busy and easy times that have little to do with those of a student's.

but can you say they DONT have a busy time right at this moment?

:)

Not at all. The tech people are the most busy at the beginning of the semesters, not the end of them.
