When a student makes an appointment to audition at this venue, how does the audition take place?
Does the student audition one-on one with each separate school, in a separate room?
Does the student audition before a large group of representatives, but is only judged by the schools to which she applied?

Please bear with me, as I am very new to the whole auditioning process and would like to prepare my daughter. Thanks!

The student must line up their auditions separately and directly with each school. The auditions are also held separately for EACH school and with just THAT school’s audition panel in its own room. The schools are simply providing auditions on the same date, same site, same city. The student does not audition in front of a panel from all the schools. If your D has 4 schools she is auditioning for at Unifieds, for example, she must contact each of her four schools and line up her appointments separately and not to overlap one another. She will then have FOUR appointments at Unifieds. She will audition four times. AND she will have to adhere to the audition requirements for EACH school and they usually DIFFER and so she must prepare what each school requires.

I also suggest you use the SEARCH feature on the MT forum and search the many threads on UNIFIED AUDITIONS and read, read, read and you will learn LOTS.

Hi Riesen~At the Unifieds, your D will be auditioning individually, in a separate room for each school she is applying to. There is a long discussion regarding the Unifieds that I’ll “bump-up” for you so look for it right under this thread. Don’t worry about asking questions, we’re all in this together :)
