Unified Auditions?

Carnegie Mellon is not on the National Unified Auditions website list of schools attending. Does anyone know if this is accurate or if CMU does participate? If they do what other schools partake in the auditions that are not listed on the NUA website?? Thanks!! JakeB

Carnegie Mellon does not use Unifieds. I’m pretty sure they hold their own national auditions at several large cities around the same time as Unifieds. You can look it up on their website under audition info.

Hey! I’m at Carnegie right now for the summer… while they are not a part of the unifieds, they are indeed in town having their “regional” auditions… I believe its Gary Kline, Don Wadsworth, and Barbara Mackenzie Wood who do the audition tour for regionals… if you audition on campus you’ll prob audition for other faculty as well…

mtdude is correct. CMU does off-campus auditions on the same dates and in the same cities as Unifieds. My D did her CMU audition in NYC one morning and then was at Unifieds that afternoon auditioning for other schools. The locations were very close to each other.
