Curious to know, can anyone help me with which colleges do callbacks during unifieds? Which colleges do callbacks later on campus? Please include colleges that are not official members of unifieds if possible.

As far as I know, UMinn/Guthrie is the only school that does callbacks on campus after unifieds. The ones I know of that do callbacks at on campus auditions are UArts and SUNY Purchase-- but I don’t know how they do unifieds.

In past years, SUNY Purchase has invited some of the auditioners at Unifieds to do their monologues again, and they film them the second time.

Some people say this constitutes a callback; some say it doesn’t.

Thanks so much. I have just heard that there were some afternoon and evening callbacks. With many schools requiring a 4 hour block for the audition, it is a tight fit to schedule all the schools.

Mason Gross (Rutgers) states that some students might be called back for on-campus auditions in March.

Also, DePaul’s auditions entail call-backs, and they recommend that students allow most of a day for auditions. UArts is similar.

Coastal Carolina is not an official school at Unifieds. They have two slots of auditions in Chicago, one in the morning and one in the mid-afternoon (around 3PM). After the morning auditions they have a round of early afternoon callbacks and then after the evening auditions they hold callbacks from 7:00-9:00.

Ok, we are new at this, but it surprises me that they expect you to hold the whole day for an audition. Obviously, you may NOT get a callback and would miss auditioning for another school. If callbacks were in the evening I would understand. What am I missing?

Now that makes sense. Thanks!
