Does anyone know the dates for 2015 yet? The official website has days and month, but no year!

Penn State lists their 2015 dates in Chicago as Feb 2-4…gonna go with that!

Check the MT forum as someone listed the dates there.

2015 Unifieds in NYC are on January 24 and 25.

Thanks found it on the MT forum!

Well, our hotel reservation for Chicago Unifieds has been made. I booked a couple extra days on each side until we find out what days non-unified schools will hold auditions. I thought I was on top of things until I read the thread on the MT forum. I think some of them have had their hotel reservations for months now. Just when I think we are ahead of the pack I find out we are still trailing. LOL This is going to be a long year!

I feel ya! I got our reservations as well – hope to meet you in February!

Sounds great astute12. We are staying at the Hampton Inn across the street from the Palmer House. I’m thinking a free breakfast will help offset the outrageous cost for parking.

If you call Hilton and ask about packages, it’s possible to get free breakfast and internet at Palmer House. I had reservations for the Hampton Inn, but called Hilton to see what packages/specials they had and got free breakfast in their pricey restaurant and free wifi. It worked out best for me because I had to work while there and my daughter could just go downstairs for auditions without me. No way I would’ve been comfy with her walking a block to the Palmer House alone.

We did not stay in Palmer House, in part b/c only 2 of D’s 6 unified auditions (Ithaca and U Minn) were there, so it did not seem “worth it” to deal with increased crowds for all services in and immediately around hotel. And I have to say as well, it was a HUGE comfort to me to watch D manage and navigate where she needed to be, what time, what she needed etc in an urban environment (so many of her school choices were very urban campuses, and that had been a factor that made me nervous) I did go with her to every audition - if for no other reason than to Sherpa: hold the coat, the bag, the outdoor shoes (Day one was WAY sloppy) the extra copies of EVERYTHING, the sound system (useful, one accompanist got sick and they had no replacement) , but she was able to get out and see the city, get lunch/dinner, do things with other friends who were there for unifieds
