<p>I bumped up a previous thread for you to read, that explains the unified auditions in more depth...but basically there are unified auditions held in several cities around the country in early February. Not all schools go to them, but many do. Some schools are not officially part of the unified process, but sort of piggyback onto them, in that they have auditions in the same city as the official auditions, but in a idfferent location, or a different day.
You schedule your auditions with each school directly, most will allow you to schedule the auditions after a completed application is in thier hands.
There will be some schools with some extra space for "walk-in" auditions for which you will not have filled out an application, nor have schedlued an audition in advance.
Many kids do several auditions in one day, or over a two day period. We even met one student in LA who had also done the Unified auditions in Chicago and had auditioned for 18 or 19 schools over two weekends.
NYU is one school that come to LA the week of Unifieds, but is not part of the official process. There are others.</p>
