I apologize if this seems like it is a stupid question, but for schools that require a prescreen ex. UofM or Ithaca, would the audition at Unifieds be for only those that made it past the prescreen process?
Yes, you must pass the prescreen.
It was not a stupid question at all. This entire audition process is very confusing, with many different requiremants for many schools. Feel free to ask any questions you may have.
If/when you pass prescreen, the school will contact you to allow you to schedule audition date
And though I realize your question may have been hypothetical, be aware that unless things have changed, U. of Mich doesn’t go to all the Unified auditions. I believe they only go to Chicago for MT.
To make things even more confusing, some schools, like Oklahoma, only do prescreens at Unifieds. You have to audition on campus if you pass the prescreen at Unifieds.
Texas state Walk-in was also a prescreen audition then needed to be invited to auditions.
