Unintentionally missing a deadline?

I just received a letter from Fordham telling me they were missing something from my application. I haven't logged into the site yet, but I'm sure it's my midyear report, which I sent about a week ago. I wasn't worried about anything until I saw that the deadline for these things to be turned in was February 13. Today is February 13. This is the first time I've ever heard anything about this. Maybe they meant for this letter to arrive earlier, but this was a little upsetting. The admissions office is closed, so I can't speak to anyone until Monday.

So do I call on Monday and explain the situation? I'm a deferred applicant, so they already have everything else. The reports should be getting there soon, so do I just wait for those? I sort of wish they would have communicated something like this better...

Don't panic. It sounds like things were crossed in the mail. If you sent your midyear report a week ago, it should be there. It just takes time to put thousands of documents in the system. Call Monday, let them know you sent it a week ago, they will be able to check the system to see if it has be logged. Your guidance counselor could always send the midyear report via fax on Monday too with a note of explanation that the fax is an additional copy to the mailed item, if necessary. Good luck.

The university is closed Monday.

I had forgotten about President's Day. Thanks, though. I'll call them tomorrow and see what they suggest. I'm hoping they'll understand.
