Hello everyone. I am planning to apply to Union College. In my commonapp I have indicated that I founded a film club at our school, which is completely true. Will it somehow screw up my application if I don’t submit portfolio even though being a founder of a film club? Of course I do have some works, but those are so terrible that I would rather not submit them.
You only have to submit a portfolio if you are planning on going into the arts. I applied for the studio art major in which i had to submit a portfolio with my artwork. If you’re just telling them about a club then you don’t need to give them a portfolio

I heard decisions will be up on the portal on SAT, 3/25.
I emailed my admissions counselor and she told me saturday the 25
I feel like I’m one of the few transfers on here. Just graduated commumity college in American Samoa and planning to transfer to union to get a bachelors. Got a 3.85 GPA unweighted. 3.98 GPA in high school unweighted. Did a lot of volunteer work and was involved in different clubs. I heard the admissions for transfer was rolling, but I’m not too sure. A bit scared whether I’ll get accepted but hoping for the best!

i got an email from them saying decisions will be available on friday
I received the same email - it says Friday evening but doesn’t give a specific time.
Union Admissions: “To all the #union2021 hopefuls like @ellparis - decisions will be available in the applicant portal this Saturday!” Not sure which is accurate. Trying to find out.
I’m pretty sure the email we got is accurate
The discrepancy is odd, though. It’s like the left hand is not talking to the right hand.
Will Scholarships and financial aid also be notified tomorrow?

Although my scores and GPA are way higher than Union’s average
I hate life

My D just called. She just checked her Union account and she is INNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN! Very excited!
