Unique Grading and course availability

Ok so a 100 pt. System is not that unique but how does it compare to a 4.0 scale? Anyone know what a 96.9 UW cumulative average would look like to adcoms? My school doesn’t offer AP or IB courses but I do take three Dual Enrollment courses and Honors level classes for those that aren’t DE (So basically I’ve pursued the highest course of study available to me at my school) and I’m ranked in the top 3% of my class.

Yes. It would look like a 96.9 UW Cum, which is obviously quite good.

Unless a college asks you to convert your GPA (and other than the California publics, I’m aware of none that do) you would report your GPA as your school reports it on your transcript.

And AOs will know that. One can’t take a HS course that’s not offered.

Thank you so much! Haha I’m sorry in retrospect it seems that was a bit of a silly question. I appreciate the help and patience  @skieurope

My daughter moved schools after her sophomore year. The first school was the US News #1 STEM public magnet school with a 0-100 grading system. We moved internationally for work, so the second was a German International School with an IB program that has a 0-7 grading system. We never knew what her 4.0 scale GPA was. Colleges admitted her anyway and gave her merit scholarships. The only glitch we had was our State Public U that had an automated system for scholarships based on self-reported data. An email to admissions cleared that up and she was also awarded merit.

My point is, don’t worry about it, the colleges figure it out.

And the colleges will know AP/IB is not offered because each school sends a school profile that mentions things like that.
