So I took ap calc bc as a junior and didn't take the ap test for it. I'm pretty solid on calc 1-2; however, will I be required to take 1A-1B as a freshman since I technically didn't get credit for it? Or will I be able to sign up for 53? thanks.

you have to take the test in order to skip

^^ Actually, you might be able to take an equivalent “higher level” course and skip. The assumption being that if you could handle the higher level course, you took away enough from the prerequisite.

Check with authority. You can certainly sign up for and take 53, but whether or not it’ll replace 1AB is up to authority.

One of my friends had the same problem. She skipped out of Math 1B with credit by exam while she was in Math 1A.

why didnt you take the ap test? it wouldve been better to have done so, even if you did get a 1
