Unique Situation - Do I have a chance at Princeton?

Doesn’t Princeton require a year of foreign language for graduation? It might not be the school for you if you don’t like languages.

Well there Mr. McCain, thank you for showing that you have a very poor understanding of etymology and scientific terminology. A HUGE portion of the English language is derived from Latin, and in my own field of biology, Latin and Greek roots are everywhere. Oh yes, it’s completely useless to me, and will in no way increase my understanding of language.

“Lower” Ivies? Am I to assume you mean Cornell/Dartmouth/etc? Your elitist attitude is unfounded. Somehow, I severely doubt you have been accepted to a “real Ivy.”

I didn’t say I don’t like languages. I said that I didn’t take a language at my high school because they didn’t offer one I was interested in learning. I fully intend to take 4 years of Latin in college.
