According to https://housing.berkeley.edu/rates and the housing portal, there are two types of suites in unit 1 and 2. I was wondering what the differences are between the Mini-suite and regular suite. For example, a double in Mini-suite costs $17,731 while a double in regular suite costs $19,462. Or, is it just a mistake and do unit 1/2 only have mini-suites? The website and portal also say that Unit 3 has suites, is that true?
you can’t really get regular suites in unit 1/2/3, from what I understand–when you fill out the housing app, it says that there are less than 10 of these spaces available. mini-suites are two rooms with a bathroom–no common area or anything. unit 1/2 primarily have mini-suites and residential halls.
