in hs i woke up 20 min b4 school started came to class late everyday and ate my breakfast in 1st period lol.

Can we eat inside the lecture halls / wherever the discussion groups are held?

You guys @ unit 3 should stop by Sufficient Grounds by Sather Lane. It always has a freebie tray full of donuts and pastries.

@ethancc2: seriously? is it any good? :p

@fireprincess90: I have 8am labs/discussions on Mon-Thu that are either 1.5 or 2 hours in length and then my next classes are at 11am after which I was planning on getting lunch. so i'd probably want to eat breakfast before 8 .. thanks for the advice though; i'll figure something out. oh and the GBC is the Golden Bear Caf

ooo i guess im going to the golden bear cafe on those hungry days x)

Are you guys telling me that its hard to eat breakfast with class at 8AM when you've been doing it for the last 4 years in High School? Heck classes in high school starts even earlier. Also I highly recommend you don't skip breakfast. With a Microwave and a minifridge, a lot of good nutritious food are possible and quick. Use your noodles to figure out what you can make and save some money.

yea but in college, your sleeping cycle goes what

Try to eat breakfast. Eating a decent breakfast can help stave off the Freshman 15, especially if you don't eat late at night. Going 12+ hours without eating puts your body into conservation mode which in turn causes you to put on weight like a mofo.

In response to your question, Castel, while there is nothing preventing you from taking food into many of the lecture halls, take some time to pick out food that doesn't have a strong odor. One of the worst experiences in my life was when I was trying to take an organic chemistry test at 8am while the guy behind me was eating rancid curry.

Thanks. The ol' eat-some-smelly-food-so-everyone-else-does-poorly trick.
