which is the best building for unit 3 residence halls? i am in a double. thank you.

Hands down it has to be Ida Sproul. I lived on the 5th floor with a scenic view of San Francisco Bay and GGB. Add to that the best floormates, a decent RA, and a clean living environment.

Yes, Ida Sproul has a nice view. Other than that, I’m not aware of any significant differences between the buildings. So no need to stress out about where you end up.

I lived in Ida Sproul and the view was unbeatable. Definitely the best view from any dorm room.

With that said, Spens-Black is SLIGHTLY closer to bear market, as is Priestly. All of the buildings are good though, and you don’t get to pick so it doesn’t matter anyway.

Whoa did you guys live in Ida Sproul either of the last 2 years?

I had the view, it was perfect :)

Ida’s view from the penthouse. epic.

The buildings kinda have their own flavors, most of the buildings have athletes in em because its close to the track/baseball field/pool. Waterpolo is usually in Norton, Track in spens black, and baseball in Ida. I dont think there are any athletes in Priestly and Beverly Cleary.

Besides that I would say Spens is the closest to Sather lane, while Norton is close to the RSF. But your so close to campus in unit 3 that that extra 20 seconds probably isn.t gonna make much of a difference. Having your own dining common and bear market is pretty sweet…tho I hope they improve the quality of food…
