Unit Cap for transferring to USC?

<p>I am currently entering my third year of college and am interested in transferring to USC. I know the UC system has a unit cap where if you have taken more than X amount of units, you cannot apply to transfer.</p>

<p>Is this the case with USC as well? If I have too many units, am I not allowed to transfer to USC? </p>

<p>I have contacted USC admissions, but I was wondering if anyone here knew.</p>

<p>The number of units does not matter; however, USC will only grant credit for 64 units (half the number required for graduation) towards your degree.

This rule only applies towards applicants who have completed credit hours at a 4 year institution. If you have completed all your units at a community college then the limit will not be imposed.</p>

<p>Thanks. I went to community college for two years and I am transferring to UCLA this fall. However, I sort of had a cahnge of heart and want to try for USC. I am still going to attend UCLA this fall, but I still want to try to get into USC. I just wanted to make sure USC does not have any sort of unit cap.</p>
