Unit cap

I was planning to attend CSULB, transferring fall 2013, but I just read on they now have a 13-unit cap. That less than a full-time student of a semester system should take.

At CCs we are told to transfer with 60 units in 4 semesters.

So I'm starting to think CSULB might not be my match especially for engineering students who need to catch up on some lower division engineering classes not offered at CCs.

Does anyone know of other UCs or CSUs that have a total or quarter/semester unit cap?

UCSB has a unit cap, but all of the UC’s ignore the unit cap if you’ve only attended a California Community College or 2 year school.
