Unit Overload

<p>Does anyone have experience with petitioning for permission to have a unit overload? I know that the Unit Cap is set at 20.5 Units per semester, but I would like to register for 23-27. Now, putting all the "omg, you're gonna kill yourself...why are you taking so many units" comments aside- does anyone have any real advice on this issue? Do I need to think up a really good reason as to why I want to take so many units? Is there a chance that my petition will be rejected? Is there a difference between petitioning for one or two units over the cap than 7?</p>

<p>Everytime someone poists "don't do this", someone always ends up doing it. :) But do you really need to petition to go over the unit limit? That's what they say but you can register above 20.5 units on telebears.</p>
