unit question

I'm a freshman and I'm taking only 9 units this quarter b/c i had to drop one of my classes (it was an impacted class so i wanted to drop it before 3rd week so it woudln't be marked on my transcript). i took 15 units fall quarter and 14 units winter and i plan on taking 18 units fall quarter next year to meet ecp. i don't have any financial aid and i plan on living on campus next year. are there any consequences for only taking 9 units if i plan to meet ecp by the end of fall next year?

Yeah, the consequences associated with no longer being a full-time student.

what does that mean if i’m not getting any financial aid?

I’m thinking along the lines of stuff outside of UCLA. Someone here mentioned such things as health insurance, car insurance, etc. Although, I’m not sure if just one quarter makes a difference.

It probably doesn’t because that kind of stuff audits once a semester (if they are very aggressive in checking and they always want it in the beginning of the semester).
