<p>i was just informed today that i was chosen as one of two of my state's delegates to the United States Senate Youth Program for 2008. anybody here have any experience with the program, or also get picked for the 2008 program???</p>

I might be with you (knock on wood). I know I made it into the top ten for california and I am waiting till monday for their call. Somtimes it sucks to be from such a big state-- so much competition :)</p>

i was a Misssissippi Delegate</p>

<p>the woman from the state board of ed. called my principal and told him to come get me, and told us both at the same time.</p>

<p>by the way, there's a facebook group called USSYP 2008 for everybody who got accepted. if you have a FB, you should join it!</p>

<p>hello, so i applied this year for this program and am one of the semi-finalist from my state. i have an interview friday that will determine if i am one of the two finalist. does anyone have any tips for me on this interview? how should i prepare?</p>

<p>My interview is going to be 15 minutes and all personal. So I’ll just talk about myself, my accomplishments, etc.</p>

<p>I’m not from Alabama, though, so I don’t know if it will be the same for you.</p>
