My interview (New England area) was a group interview, there were about 12 of us. It was at the office of an alumni. There was a lot of group discussion, there were also activities to see how you work in a group/ice breakers. There was also a personal interview with an alumni and someone on the committee. I know that in some other regions there were not group interviews, but one on ones. All of the people at my interview were really nice, interesting, and generally awesome people.

One thing you really need to realize when applying is that if you get in there is a good chance you will end up at Armand Hammer, since 50% of US applicants go there.

I hope I don't have to do a group interview. I've had to do two before and, to put it plainly, they sucked. Luckily I still got into both of those programs because they weren't very competitive.

My group interview was actually pretty fun, it was intense, as it was an all day thing (9-5 ish). All of the people were awesome, and the activities were pretty fun. I think the one on one was worse, because its an international school where you'd be representing america they asked some interesting questions about american culture, and also how you might deal with certain situations.

Does anyone have a feel for the male to female ratio of UWC applicants/attendees? Someone told me there are a lot more female students than males. Is this true?

Hey, i know that this thread might be kinda old, but i just received information that i might be going to the college in Italy. I was hoping if any of you might be able to provide me with some information on the academics and life there. Hopefully, how well it ranks as compared to the other UWC's too.

Hi,
I know that it has been a long time since anyone has comprehended to this discussion, but I am very much interested in applying to the UWC schools and I do not find for the site to be too helpful in terms of explaining the courses available and the possible after school activities as well as the over all school life.
Do any of you know where I could find the lists of activities and IB course options in the individual schools (preferably the ones in Europe) or do any of you have any experience? And anyways, is it a good idea to go there?

Go to this website:[Location map | UWC](http://www.uwc.org/our_colleges/location_map.aspx). You will be able to find a website for each of the UWC campuses. Then you have to go to each school’s website to look for their curriculum subject choices. There is no central place to see them in one place. Where are you applying from? I assume that you are not from the U.S. My daughter is at UWC USA if you have any questions about that one.
