<p>how hard is it to get univ apartments for 2006-07? i will be an incoming soph in honors and Alumni scholar so i know that should help a little...my friend and i really want an apt (despite everyone's opinions that we shouldnt), and i was wondering for anyone whose been in the univ aparts what they are like, how much cable/internet is, how far the walk is from campus, how hard it is to get parking, if it was worth it etc. ANY info whatsoever would really help, thanks</p>
<p>You can also try the nonuniversity apartments closeby to campus- just start looking at the ads or craigslist.com or whatever the popular site was for people to list stuff. There are a lot of nicely remodeled apartments within walking distance to campus, and others which are close by to shuttle sites that will drive you right up to campus for free and goes by every 10 min I think during the peak class times. I've passed by some really nice ones especially on Kelton right after you enter from Sunset.</p>
<p>It would be nice though if it were your first year at LA to try out the dorms since the majority of friends are made in the dorm halls.</p>
