Univ. of Alabama admissions

It says on the link below that UA generally admits a student with a 20 ACT or 950 SAT score and a 3.0 cumulative grade point average. So if you have anything above that, then UA is considered a safety. Anyone know if this is actually true or not? Thanks.

Bump..........

I am out of state (Georgia) and my cumulative GPA is a 3.65. From my practice SAT tests I will probably will have around a 1000 to 1100 SAT score. By the way, I am a junior.

I just emailed the admissions counselor and I asked her if someone meets or exceeds the 950 SAT score and the 3.0 GPA will they automatically get accepted? and she said yes.
