<p>Im still waiting on an acceptance/rejection letter but I just wanted to see what everyones opinion was...</p>

<p>SAT- 1300 (taken twice, both times got a 1300)
ACT- 30</p>

<p>Ranked 92/700 (12%, and school is large and competitive)</p>

<p>Taken honors classes every year including AP and never made more than 1 B per semester.</p>

<p>EC Activities:
Freshman- Debate Team
Soph- Debate Team
Junior- Debate Team Vice President, National Latin Honor Society
Senior- Debate Team President, Senior Men, GO Club, Nat. Latin Honor Society</p>

<p>Honors:
Fresh- Most Outstanding Achiev. Debate I
Soph- Most Outstanding Achiev. Debate 2, Texas Forensic Association State, National Latin Exam Cum Laude
Junior- President's Educational Achiev. Debate III, UIL State Debate, TFA State, National Latin Exam Magne Cum Laude
Senior- TFA State, National Latin Exam Summa Cum Laude, National Forensic League Degree of Outstanding Distinction (highest degree possible) </p>

<p>Volunteer/Job- Worked extensively with CollegeWorks Painting doing marketing and sales, Habitat for Humanity, volunteering at local nursing home and day cares.</p>

<p>Essays were pretty good, teachers all had good things to say...</p>

<p>First of all, ur talking about UTA right? Yeah I think ur chances are pretty solid, they are somewhat similar to mine and I got in, I was top12%. Which school are you applying to?</p>

<p>Yeah Austin... Liberal Arts 1st choice Nat. Sciences 2nd</p>

<p>my rank was lower, and you definitley blew me out of the water with those sat scores (i don't test well), my grades are worse, i think i've made two b's a semester (they don't look at gpa), but i've had a lot more comm service, work experience, and ec's, i've taken a lot of honors/AP classes, i got the national achievement award, and i wrote awesome essasy, if have to say to myself. don't worry, i think you can get in.</p>
