Hey, I'm actually an undergraduate right now but my little brother is applying to colleges at the moment. I was wondering if anyone here has heard of the universal college application? Personally I used the common app to apply, but I was wondering what people thought about this new app? It looks pretty promising, and has all the schools my bro wants, but it's different. Any opinions guys?

I really have no idea of the difference between the UCA and the Common application, but I assume it has mor international colleges included. I wonder if the forms are different, easier or more difficult, etc. I see HArvard and Duke use both UCA and Coll. App.
Pls let us know if you know by now of any differences. It can help future applicants.

I’m using it right now for Harvard. It’s literally like the exact same thing as the common app.

Riley: so the cost and the content is the same? no different essays? what is the advantage of one over the other? -unless Harvard doesn’t have Common App. thanks

I too wonder if there is a significant difference between the two. They look virtually the same to me, including the long and short essays- except that the Common App. specifies more essay topic choices. The UCA is revamping their app. for the fall, so it may change. Any thoughts out there?

I asked the same question before as you can see, not many people seem to know about it, so I don’t know if it picked up. Basically, I was wondering if one was easier to handle than the other for the same school.
