<p>You’ll find it much more helpful than random opinions. Several of the UC’s automatically will accept you depending upon certain factors. Take a look.</p>

<p>My son was in the top 4% of his class (last years requirement), had a 4.xx gpa (took ap classes), and had all his a-g classes. He was accepted into the 3 he actually applied to…UCB, UCD, and UCSC. I think he had an automatic acceptance into several others but didn’t actually apply. He’s going to Univ of Penn. </p>

<p>As another person said, FA is tough to get. We qualified for Blue & Gold but that only paid $9K. You might be eligible for Pell or other aid…</p>
