I'm starting my common application currently, and at the test score section it stated that some universities do not require offical test scores until application is admitted. Would you know what universities this would apply to?
Would it include one or more of:
Boston University
George Washington University
New York University
Syracuse University
(currently the schools on my common application list)

Thanks this would be helpful to know so I don't have to pay fifty dollars or more to send my scores out unless admitted.

huh? Are you sure it didn’t say “application submitted”? An applicant could be admitted, but an application could not be admitted. Are you talking about ACT/SAT optional schools, because those are the only schools that admit without the scores? Some schools will accept the scores on your transcript that your high school sends. That could help you avoid some fees.

coolbreeze: this would only apply to test-optional schools; and it is meant for those schools who will admit, but then request SAT/ACT scores so they can report to the reporting services…Muhlenberg is one that I know of; there are others but not the ones on your list…

I thought it was for a lot of random schools. Like University of Illinois- UC requires you report a test score, and it will be offical when you send it.
