Universities that will keep tuition the same for 8 semesters?

I tried to do a little research on this but maybe we can compile a list.
What Universities that you know of will keep your tuition the same for 8 consecutive semesters after you enroll?

I know that the University of Illinois locks in the given tuition rate for all 4 years.

My friend told me that St. John’s University in Queens had that deal for his son, who is graduating this year.

Northern Arizona University

I hope that is a trend that we see more of especially as incomes stagnate for parents and cost of living keeps increasing.

Does U of I keep tuition set for both in state and OOS students? That is great if they do. I think many parents considering OOS publics are wary of the huge potential tuition increases that may occur at some states.

I’m not sure, but I would certainly hope so, as I am a prospective OOS student at Illinois. I think that they would guarantee locked in tuition for both in state and out of state.

The university of Kansas has the same tuition rate for all four years to first time freshman.

This is quite interesting (and good news) - keep them coming! I’m surprised to see state schools making the list. I would have thought that the privates would be the more likely candidates, since they have more freedom to arrange things.

George Washington University

A bit less selective: Western Oregon University.

Western Oregon University.

(Sorry for the cross-post.)

University of Illinois, Urbana Champaign.

colgate university for international students.

I read that The University of Oklahoma Tuition stays the same for all incoming freshman.

So Far we have,

University of Illinois
St. John’s University in Queens
Northern Arizona University
University of Kansas
George Washington University (the Most expensive University on the planet)
Western Oregon University.
Colgate University
University of Oklahoma

Note that the Colgate tuition freeze may only apply to internationals.

GWU didn’t make last year’s list in Forbes of the 10 most expensive colleges; its sticker price is expensive, but it’s certainly not the most expensive. They also offer some generous merit aid. Combine that with the tuition freeze, and GWU can be surprisingly attractive financially for some full-pay families.

Oh yeh, George Washington University what a bargain at 51k. I’m sure it is well worth it though, Just ask the families that have 200k worth of debt, and their graduate can’t get a job. Well worth it!

So Far we have,

Glad to see NJ Palladin removed the bias of GWU from OP. I agree with prior posts that GWU gives tremendous “free” merit aid and scholarships. Students shouldn’t write-off any college based on costs alone untils after they see the FA package offered.

You would be surprised! Does anyone really pay “full-price” for a new car? Just an analogy.

CJ

I don’t think that’s Bias, The OP was not that far off only $3000
