Universities with good engineering and art schools?

I'm planning to major in engineering and maybe minor or take classes in fine arts since it has been a long time passion of mine. I would like to know if any colleges fit the criteria I mentioned in the title?

Most of the big universities with engineering should also have art. Check their web sites for art departments, course catalogs/schedules, and faculty rosters.

Cooper Union is a small specialized school focused on engineering, art, and architecture.

RIT has the College of Imaging Arts and Sciences, which has an amazing range of majors [RIT: College of Imaging Arts & Sciences](http://cias.rit.edu/)

Carnegie Mellon and UMichigan come to mind immediately. I’m sure there are more.

I’m actually applying for Carnegie Mellon (and I’m submitting an art supplement too). My brother is at Umich and he has warned me not to go there, haha. Cooper Union looks amazing, but since I am an international student I am not very sure that I could deal with the stress of living in New York…
