<p>When does the office of admission send notification of the University Achievement Award? Have the decision for those awards already been made? Feel free to elaborate....Thanks :)</p>
<p>Also, I just found this description of the university achievement award on the financial aid section of the U.Va. website. </p>

<p>i'm not sure, but i believe that scholarship, like most others, is given by the Alumni Association so the admissions office might have nothing to do with it</p>
<p>I'll check into where that description came from (it looks like that one is from the Registrar and from 1995?). From what I understand, the Outreach Office passes on the names of students who meet the criteria and a committee in the Alumni Association selects the winners.</p>

<p>No definitive date, just early April and they came out around the end of the first week of April last year.</p>
