1) kick, you said you only had GW and WP left - was that in terms of 2bd, 4ppl situation? Or was that the entire UniApt?

2) how does a 2 person, 1bd (studio or regular uni apt room at any place) stack up according to these time constraints? (in terms of availability)

I am literally in the exact some situation(same time, same room type) and did some calculations for myself. Room signups are apparently separated by 15 minutes. I assume it was more like two hours. Counting two rooms listed as studios but who, for some reason, lack kitchens, there are 44 studio singles. There are twelve signups before us. As such, if 3.7 single studios are taken during each signup, we are screwed.
So, yes, we may well be screwed.

You dont. Ucla sets aside a certain number of rooms for transfers. After acceptance, you can try to get one of these rooms. I don’t know how many of these rooms will be apartments.

Aw, I’m disappointed. My signup time isn’t even for another 20 minutes! Damn housing… I guess I will never enjoy the apartment college experience. Another year in De Neve I guess.

(Well really it’s only for 2 quarters. I wonder whether it was worth the hassle considering an apartment.)

does anyone here have pictures of university apartments on landfair (preferably LF641) or any opinions on how your living experiences/general observations about the place? i have a room there but i dunno if it’s worth following up throughout or just pursuing straight up offcampus

Did you get a studio? I can’t believe I got one at that time, I didn’t really think that out of 13 single studios, there would still be some left at 11am. Hope you had some luck too. I think there were only 3 left at 11.

I did. I was really surprised. Got in at exactly 11am and there were 4 left. Grabbed the largest one as quickly as possible. 11:04, there were none left.
